Titikaka Lake
Lake Titicaca is the second largest lake in South America and the highest navigable lake in the world. Located in the Bolivian and Peruvian altiplano some 3,800 meters. Its maximum depth is estimated in excess of 360 m. It consists of two bodies of water separated by the Strait of Tiquina, the largest known or Chucuito Lake Maggiore and the smaller called Lago Menor or Huiñamarca.
