SN1 - Island of the Sun 1 night 2 days
Day 01. On pre-arranged time departure from hotel to Copacabana on Lake Titikaka 158km, we offer lunch in a local restaurant (fixed menu) continue visiting the Church, the Indian Madonna and the market. With our car we will get to Zampaya, community located to the north of the peninsula of Copacabana. This pretty and to the same time original town, apparent the typical Inca architecture of the time of the colony, their streets are paved and done in their time by the Inca culture, used for the transport of load and offerings, carried to the Island of the Sun and to the Island of The Moon. From the beach of this village we board a motorboat that will take us toward the Island of the Sun, on this legendary island we will visit some Inca ruins, have dinner and overnight in a tourist category hotel.
Day 02. Breakfast and a short trek on an Inca trail departing from the north part of the island to the south (4hours), back the same way to Copacabana and drive back to La Paz.

CR1 - Choro Trail 2 nights 3 days
This trek has become very popular lately. This short trek concentrates in only three days, the most interesting landscapes between mountains of Cordillera Real - when crossing the first (and only) mountain pass -, and the cloud forest called Yungas.
An impressive descent of almost 4.000 vertical meters (2.5 miles), will allow you to appreciate an amazing variety of landscapes through this microclimatic zone, actually part of the Cotapata National Park.
Day 01 La Paz - Challapampa (4to6 hours)
Departure from La Paz to La Cumbre the highest point on the road to the Yungas, we follow the path until Apacheta the pass to the valley of Chucura 5.370mt. From this point our journey goes on Inca paths through the valley of Chucura at 3.200mt - finally at the end of the day we arrive at Challapampa our first camping place. Dinner and overnight.
Day 02 Challapampa - Pabellonani (4to5 hours)
After breakfast we continue downhill towards the sub-tropical forest in the heart of the Yungas until our camp at Pabellonani , from this point the journey is more intensive, the temperature goes higher, after a line of up and down hills that have to be made and crossing of rivers will finally end at our camping site.
Day 03 Pabellonani- Sandillani - El Chairo (5to6 hours)
Last day and longest, after breakfast we follow a gentile drop to the hanging breach of north Yungas from that part we start going up the Devil stares, we continue follow a long path until Sandillani. We stop to have a long break before we continue to El Chairo the end of the trail. From there we take our vehicle to return to La Paz. The trip goes through the world’s exciting roads and Bolivia’s diverse scenery for about 2 hours, crossing the subtropical forest and a massive stone mountain over La Cumbre. Arrival at the hotel at the end of the day.

After breakfast we follow a gentile drop to the hanging breach of north Yungas from that part we start going up the Devil stares, we continue follow a long path until Sandillani, This day is just for relaxing and have a nice day in the nature. For the night is plan not to use a tent, instead we spend the night in a local hut running by the local farmers in this particular spot.
Day 04 Sandillani - Chairo - Coroico - La Paz (2 hours)
After having breakfast we start our hike to El Chairo, the end of the trail. From there we take our vehicle to return to La Paz but first a short visit to the village of Coroico for lunch. Afterwards return to La Paz, the trip goes through the world’s exciting roads and Bolivia’s diverse scenery for about 2 hours, crossing the subtropical forest and a massive stone mountain over La Cumbre. Arrival at the hotel at the end of the day.

CR3 - Takesi Trail 2 nights 3 days
This is the Bolivia’s most frequented “Inca trail”, actually a pre-Columbian trail probably constructed during the Tiwanaku culture.
The most interesting part is from the road head at the beginning of the trek and across the mountain, pass down to Loro Kheri lagoon. This incredibly well preserved section of stone-paved trail is an amazing masterpiece of engineering with drainage systems, platforms and containing walls. After the lagoon, the descend follows a route parallel to Taquesi River down to Cacapi village and later to Chojlla mine.
This itinerary has been designed for those who only want to trek Taquesi trail. Please note that to take this trip alone, you must already be acclimatized to the highlands. This means that you must have spent at least 3-5 days at the highlands doing light physical activity.
Day 01. La Paz - Mina S. Francisco - Takesi (6 to 8 hours)
Departure from La Paz to Mina San Francisco located only 45km from La Paz, We start following the path until Apacheta, the pass to the valley of Takesi 4.770mt. From this point our journey goes on Inca paths to the village of Takesi at 3.200mt - camping night near the river. (box lunch on the way)
Day 02 Takesi - Cahacapi (4 to 6 hours)
After breakfast we continue downhill towards Cahacapi, from this point the journey is more intensive, the temperature goes higher, after a line of up and down hills that have to be made and crossing of rivers, we will finally camp (6 to 8 hours).
Day 03 Cahacapi - Mina Chojlla (3 to 4 hours) - La Paz (3 hours car ride)
Last day of trekking, after breakfast we follow the path to Mina Chojlla a small miner’s village located in the heart of the Yungas zone. It is the end of the trail from there we take our vehicle to keep going on an amazing road on the way back to La Paz. The trip goes through the world’s exciting roads and Bolivia’s diverse scenery for about 2 hours, crossing the subtropical forest and a massive stone mountain over La Cumbre. Arrival at the hotel at the end of the day.

Choro Trail Xtended
Day 01 La Paz - Unduavi - Pabellonani (6to8 hours)
Departure from La Paz to La Cumbre the highest point on the road to the Yungas, we follow the road down till the police checkpoint at Unduavi, over there we start our hick in to the Yungas Valleys. The path goes until Apacheta the pass to the valley of Sillu T´inkara 5.370mt. From this point our journey goes on Inca paths until Pabellonani at 3.200mt - camping night.
Day 02 Pabellonani- Sandillani (3to4hours)
A new day in the Jungle, we welcome you with a hot cup of tee and a nutritional breakfast. After we pack again our camping gear, we are ready to go. Our journey from this point is more intensive, the temperature goes higher, after a line of up and down hills that have to be made, we follow a gentile drop to the hanging breach of north Yungas, then over the Devil stares we continue follow a long path until Sandillani. On our arrival we will have a very nice refuge with comfortable rooms (6 to 8hrs) Constructed with stone and earth, the lodge exhibits the survival of ancient construction techniques combined with modern elements. In addition, the use of local woods, bamboos and other materials.
Day 03 Sandillani - El Chairo - Coroico (1to2 hours)
Last day and quick, we continue to El Chairo the end of the trail for about 1 hour. From there we take our vehicle to get to the village of Coroico (37km) - free time to relax and enjoy the hotel.
Day 04 Coroico - Puente Villa - Castillo del Chaco (3to4 hours car ride)
After breakfast departure from Coroico, the jeep ride goes through a few Indian and Afro-Bolivian farmer villages, those farmers planting the traditional coca plant. We stop on the way at Santa Barbara a small farm located on the way to Coroico, already there we take lunch, and in the afternoon there is free time to walk around the area. This place is amazing, it has waterfalls, a wild orchids garden, coca, coffee and citric plantations, wonderful and unforgettable impressive views. Afterwards we head to Puente Villa in the south part of the Yungas, overnight in a tourist category hotel.
Day 05 Castillo del Chaco - La Paz (3 hours car ride)
After having breakfast we depart to La Paz by a very exiting road. On the way we stop several times for pictures.

Arrivals at the hotel, time to walk around the area, have a pool afternoon or enjoy a soft drink with a spectacular view.
Day 04 Coroico (2 hours car ride)
After breakfast departure from Puente Villa, the jeep ride goes through a few Indian and Afro-Bolivian farmer villages, those farmers planting the traditional coca plant. CN2 - National park Condoriri 2 days 1 night

Day 02. Chiar Kohta - Pico Austria - La Paz - Today start with our first high altitude ascension, early in the morning we will take the path that follows until Pico Austria 5.200m/16.060ft. From this point is possible to observe in clear days Lake Titikaka, part of the Cordillera and even the highest pick in Bolivia, the Sajama Volcano. To get there is no equipment required, it is an easy hike and perfect place to prove our physical condition. In the afternoon back to La Paz the same way.

On this trek you will have to cross over two hills over 5.000mt high and walk down to the 3000 meters!!!. During you hike there is the chance to appreciate from far the Huayna Potosi, Lake Titikaka and much more. This circuit is considered one of the nicest and taken by many mountaineers on approach for climb Huayna Potosi.
Day 04. Chacapampa - Huayna Potosi - La Paz Breakfast and departure to take our car back to La Paz, on the way stop at the Zongo Platform on the foothills of the Huayna Potosi. We offer optional to ascend to the high camp at Campamento Argentino and than back to La Paz.

SB2 Sorata - Laguna Glaciar
Day 01 La Paz - Sorata Departure to Sorata, a beautiful village located in a lovely valley (2700 m.a.s.l.) on the foothills of Mount Illampu (6400 m.a.s.l.) it is the highest mountain on the Royal Mountain Range. This village Sorata is well know as one of the most beautiful spots of Bolivia, with its semi tropical climate with temperatures between 14 ° and 24 °C (Celsius degrees). Suddenly, we are surrounded by colorful plants and peculiar smells. The everyday life goes on the markets and before the shops. Colorful alleys cut themselves through the centre built in colonial style. In a confusing number of alleys and smaller colorful shops you will get lost in a friendly way. The afternoon is spent visiting the subterranean lagoons in the caves of San Pedro. Sleep in a hostel accommodation.
Day 02 Sorata - Laguna Chijllata Early wakeup and trek up to the mysterious lagoon Chijllata, this goes along a rout that give fantastic views of the western side of the Illampu and across the Rio S. Cristobal valley. Laguna Chijllata is a sacred lake surrounded by legend and mystery. Local witches (brujos) communicate with the lake to cure people of diseases and afflictions. There are some ruins in the area, allegedly Inca and tales of old in the rocks. At 4,200m we will set our camp.
Day 03 Chijllata - Laguna Glaciar From camp, we head up the right hand of Rio Jalanta that runs through the camp and then we follow a rising traverse with views of Sorata 1.700 m below, Lake Titikaka, and way to the north , the glaciated peaks of the Cordillera Apolobamba. After 4-6 hours of hike we will find us at the Laguna Glaciar at about 4.300 m. The main stream of the lake is full of sediment but there are a few clear ponds within a few minutes of camping area.
Day 04 Laguna Glaciar - Sorata - La Paz After breakfast we leave our camp and begin the descent, following the same route back to the notch above the abandoned Titisani mine in two hours. Then of following a series of faint paths we reach laguna Chijllata and then head straight down until we meet the main path that will lead us to Sorata over two rivers, Tusca Jahuira and Lakathiya River. Arrival at Sorata, short break at the Plaza and drive back to La Paz.

CP1 - “Camino de los Brujos” Curva - Pelechuco 7 days 6 nights
Day 01 La Paz - Curva Early departure from La Paz to Curva, this ride goes over the highest part of the Altiplano and shows the magnificent of the country. Our journey ends in Curva a small village considered mystical for there witches doctors (Kallawaya). Camping night close to the village.
Day 02 Pampa Alta to Sunchulli Today, we find ourselves working up an appetite as we travel up and through a high pass at 4,700m/15,400-ft. Akamani can be seen as we traverse the high pass to our north and left. We descend for the next two hours and soon find ourselves camped near the Incachani waterfall along the Rio Sunchuli. An invigorating shower is possible before a hearty dinner.
Day 03 Sunchulli Valley Today we travel to the Sunchuli Valley where the Incas mined for gold at the Minas de Oro. The trek affords a number of spectacular views of the Cordillera Real to the south. Tonight we camp near the Inca Gold Mine.
Day 04-05 Sunchulli Valley to Illo Illo After breakfast, we break camp and head north toward the high point in our trek the Sunchuli Mountain Pass (elevation 5,100m/16,700-ft.). After traversing up a long series of switchbacks, we finally arrive at the pass where we find spectacular views of the Cordilleras Apolobama and Real to the north and south. We descend the pre-Hispanic path below the Sunchuli Mountain through a small village and eventually arrive on the banks of the Illo Illo River (elevation 3,800m/12,468-ft.) 2 camping nights in tents.
Day 06 Illo Illo to Pelechuco Today marks our last day on foot as the expedition travels to the village of Pelechuco (elevation 3,600m/11,800-ft.). After traveling through the village cemetery and out onto two high Pampas, the trekkers make their way through a final high mountain pass (elevation 4,900m/16,075-ft.). The final section of trail into Peluchuco is composed of pre-Hispanic paving. Tonight we take a small refuge for the night.
Day 07 Pelechuco to La Paz After loading our vehicle, the expedition will start the long journey back to La Paz. Along the way we stop at Ulla-Ulla National Park. The 200,000-hectare park is a Vicuna reserve and also Bolivia's densest condor population near the Apolobamba Mountain Range. We keep going to reach La Paz, after a 10-hour journey, we will find us back in La Paz for a well deserved hot shower and warm bed.

SB1 - “Paso del Condor” Sorata - Condoriri - Botijlaca 12 days 11 nights
Join us to walk trough, behind and over the Royal Mountain Range. We will be accompanied by the legendary animal of the region, the Llama. It will help us with our luggage during our journey. Every day we cross over passes, which are no lower than 4000m (13.200ft). This will be one of your greatest adventures.
Day 01 La Paz - Sorata After driving across the altiplano, we arrive in Sorata, this town is located right down below the amazing mountain Illampu 6368m (20892ft). The Illampu is one of the highest peaks within the Royal Mountain Range. After lunch, you may explore the surroundings and by night we meet again for dinner. Overnight in a local Hotel.
Day 02 Sorata - Hancohuma - Coocoyo 4hrs From the village of Sorata we will cross the mountains in a jeep to the valley of Hancohuma for approximately 3 hours. At the pass of "El Chuchu", the highest point of the road (4560m -15048ft), it is possible to enjoy the whole panorama of the valley and with a little luck we will get to see the Lord of the Andean sky "the Condor!" Once at Hancohuma, we will drive down to the village of Cooyoco, there we will put up our camp and get ready to spend the first night in the mountains.
Day 03 Coocoyo to Chajolpaya 6-7hrs Today's hike is possibly the longest part of our voyage (but only psychologically). We have to leave early to arrive to the next pass before noon. The path is clearly marked and easy to walk. Once on the Chokakhota Pass (4500m -14850ft) we will take a short break, afterwards will go down the hill to finally arrive at the Laguna Chokakhota, this lagoon lies right underneath the snowy mountain Negruni, mentioning that for now this is the nicest campground. Overnight in tents.
Day 04 Chajolpaya - Negruni - Piacuani Pampa 5-7hrs Another day of trekking begins. Today our porters and supporting animals will take another way, because we are going to take a shorter and easier route. First we climb a hill of 500m (1650ft). From the top of this place you will have the opportunity to enjoy the view and relax. Overnight in tents.
Day 05 Piacuani Pampa - Winhuara - Putu Putuni 5-7hrs Everything that goes up has to come down. The pass is easy to cross and after a few hours walking, we arrive to our camp side close to a main road that connects the city of La Paz with other miners towns behind the Mountains. Overnight in tents.
Day 06 Winhuara to Chojñakhota 5-7hrs During the last 10 years, one of the alternative product of the High Plateau farmers became the fish (trout), which they breed in trout farms, located in impressive artificial lakes all over the area we are going to walk through today. Also part of our trek is walking along the side of the main road. The pass is easy but high (4980m -16434ft). From here it goes down to Chojñakohta, which is the camping side we have chosen, here we meet with our vehicle, that will provide us with fresh supplies for the rest of our trek in the following days. Overnight in tents.
Day 07 Chojñakhota to Ajuani Lagoon 5-6hrs To get to this place, we have to walk up hill again for around 5 hours. It goes upside the hill toward our camp close to a amazing lagoon, where you will find the Andean birds, such as ducks, goose and others that have adapted to this habitat. Overnight in tents.
Day 08 Ajuani Lagoon - Jurikhota Our hike today is long but beautiful, because a great view will bring pleasure to our eyes. The altitude is not a problem anymore and getting over the mountain is just a joy. Today we will reach the Condoriri National Park. This is a great area for climb. During the last 8 days of the tour we saw and experienced a lot of things, like crossing passes of 4000m (13.200ft), walking on the paths of older cultures, seeing a diversity of animals and plants and enjoying the nature and pleasures of trekking. At the end of the day we will camp alongside of a great lagoon, right behind the base of a glacier, which lies on the Condoriri. Camping night.
Day 09 Resting day / spear day
Day 10 Jurikhota - Chiar Khota lagoon Short day and to the same time beautiful, once we have left our campside we will hike up to the top of Cerro Austria, an overview point of 5300m (17490ft). On this spot we take our lunch together and admire the great view and hopefully we get a chance to see the Mountain Range which we have crossed for the last days. Later we come down to the base camp at Chiar Khota lagoon at 4.600m/15.092ft surrounded by mountains and playground for many mountaineers. Camping night and relax for the rest of the day.
Day 11. Condoriri - Liviñosa Lagoon - After having breakfast we will leave the park Condoriri to cross the mountains to arrive finally at the Liviñosa Lagoon located only 30min from Chacapampa. On this trek you will have to cross over two hills over 5.000mt high and walk down to the 3000 meters!!!. Day 12. Chacapampa - Huayna Potosi - Breakfast and departure to take our car back to La Paz, on the way stop at the Zongo Platform on the foothills of the Huayna Potosi. Arrival before midday.

Climbing on the Royal Mountain Range area - “Thin Air Experiences”
Mount Illimani 6.439m / 21.125ft classic route
The Illimani is the highest and southernmost peak in the Royal range, Hans Ertel, German natural scientist writing in Mountain World 1953, described Illimani as one of the most beautiful and impressive groups of peaks in South America. The normal route is the easiest route on the mountain and it gets you to its highest point.
Day 01 La Paz - Puente Roto In a 3 hours ride by jeep we will arrive until Estancia Una, a small village close to the Illimani. From there we are going to start our approach to the glacier. In a 3 to 4 hour walk and follow paths toward the west face of Illimani and then cross a series of steppes, we arrive to Puente Roto our first camp.
Day 02 Puente Roto - Nido de Condores After breakfast from Puente Roto, we will follow the mining road for about 15 minutes and then up, aiming for a screw slope that leads to the rock ridge coming down from below Pico Sur until the high camp Nido de Condores, a rocky platform next to a glacier.
Day 03 The Summit We have to be sure to start around 04:00 to be safely and quickly down before the snow softens in the sun. The climb is very cold because the sun rises on the opposite side of the mountain. The approach to the Summit to the Nido de Condores will take us around 7 to 8 hours, after we have rich the summit we will return the same way down, the descent takes 2 to 3 hours from the summit to Nido de Condores an another 2 to 3 hours to Puente Roto.
Day 04 Return to La Paz After conquest Illimani, it is time to return. Our vehicle will wait for us in Pinaya, lunch on the way, arrival in La Paz late in the afternoon.

Mount Huayna Potosi 6.088m / 19.974ft classic route
Huayna Potosí is the easiest 6000er in the world, but its altitude is a real Challenge, The original name is Caca-Aca given by the native indigenes. There are over seven routes to climb all of them with a different grade difficulty. The first climbers were two Germans in May 1919, Rudolf Dienst and Adolf Schulze.
Day 01 La Paz - Zongo After 1 hours jeep ride from La Paz we will arrive until Zongo, from the pass we get prepare to approach our high camp at "Campamento Argentino" (5.450m / 17880ft ).
Day 02 The Summit We have to be shore to star around 04:00 to be safely and quickly down before the snow softens in the sun. From Campamento Argentino, we head up the glacier towards the East Face, after 4 hours of have cross a series of slopes and crevasses we will reach the summit! , after enjoy the view we will return to Zongo and from there to La Paz.

Illampu 6.342m / 20.807ft classic route
The Illampu is one of the hardest and demanding climbs in the Cordillera Real (Royal Mountain Range), you will find physically and technically challenge to overpass in this adventure. This program should only be attempted by those in very good shape and with experience on ice. Beside all this, it is a spectacular climb and you will enjoy it without any doubt.
Day 01. La Paz - Sorata - Ancoma Departure to Sorata, a beautiful village located in a lovely valley (2700 m.a.s.l.) on the foothills of Mount Illampu (6400 m.a.s.l.) it is the highest mountain on the Royal Mountain Range. This village is well known as Sorata as one of the most beautiful spots of Bolivia, with its semi tropical climate with temperatures between 14 ° and 24 °C (Celcius degrees). After lunch we continue by car towards the village of Ancoma, where we will set our first camp (4,200m).
Day 02. Ancoma - Aguas Calientes After breakfast we start a short trek to our second camp spot, in an area known as Aguas Calientes (4,850m). During these three hours, on a clear day, we may have the chance to appreciate the majestic Illampu massif.
Day 03. Aguas Calientes - High Camp Today we will reach the high camp, at 5,600m. The route begins over a moraine and other rocky areas until we reach the start of the glacier. The camp site is a short distance along the length of the glaciar, (approx 5 hours in total).
Day 04. Summit After a hearty breakfast, we will start our ascent to the summit, which will take around six hours. The return will be along the same route to the high camp.
Day 05. Aguas Calientes Return down to Aguas Calientes.
Day 06. Sorata - La Paz Trek back to Ancoma and from there back to Sorata, time to explore the village and have lunch. After that return to La Paz.

Climbing on the Royal Mountain Range area - “Thin Air Experiences”
Condoriri 5.700m / 18.700ft classic route
The Condoriri area is a particularly attractive zone to practice climbing. Although the summits are not as high as other peaks, the variety of different terrains encountered and skills needed makes for a very exciting experience. This itinerary also allows you to enjoy climbing even with less experience and train your self on ice to gradually gain more and more technical knowledge and skills.
Day 01. La Paz - Condoriri Nat. Park - We leave La Paz and we get to the Mountains. Driving across the Altiplano we will get to the Condoriri National Park, located on the Royal Mountain Range. There our first camp at the shores of the Chiar Kohta lagoon on 4.600m/15.092ft surround by mountains and playground for many mountaineers. Before we get there we have to arrive at the Tuni Dam, from there we will hike around 2 hours to this place already described. Camping night.
Day 02. Condoriri Nat. Park - Pequeño Alpamayo - We leave our camp towards Pico Tarija, an easy glaciar right before Pequeño Alpamayo, which is on the back side of this little mountain. Than of heaving enjoy our first summit is time to go back to the camp. Camping night.
Day 03. Condoriri Nat. Park - Pico illusion - Breakfast and departure to reach the summit of Pico Ilusion (5,350m). It is not a high climb but the approach gives us the opportunity to practice different skills (eg. glacial traverse) and helps in our preparation for the Cabeza del Condor the following day. On wise time, return to base camp.
Day 04. Condoriri Nat. Park - Cabeza de Condor - Breakfast and early departure for a long day towards the summit of the Cabeza del Condor. The terrain begins on very loose rock until we reach the ice. The ascent starts relatively gently (40-45º) until we enter into an ice canyon where the climb becomes more technical. Once reaching the summit, we return by the same route to our base camp. All in all about 13 hours and after this back to our base camp, for a well deserve dinner and bottle of wine.
Day 05. Condoriri Nat. Park - La Paz - Breakfast and Time to breakup our camp and return to Estancia Tuni, where our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to La Paz.
